By renting, you confirm you understand this is a rental (not a purchase), and that you have read and agree to this entire Agreement.
1. Rental Nature
All appliances are rented, not sold.
You do not gain ownership rights at any time.
The equipment remains property of Top Appliance Rental (referred to as “Company” below).
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide valid ID and contact information
- Provide a valid service address in the service area
- Provide a valid debit or credit card
3. Rental Term
- Minimum rental period: 6 months
- After 6 months, agreement becomes month-to-month
- Billing is recurring monthly
4. Payments
- First payment is due upon installation
- Payments are automatically charged monthly
- Accepted methods: credit/debit card
- You authorize recurring billing
Late Payments
- Late fees may apply after due date
- Continued non-payment may result in repossession
5. Delivery & Installation
- Delivery and installation are included
- You must:
- Ensure proper hookups (water, electric, venting)
- Provide safe and clear access
- Company is not responsible for delays outside its control
6. Maintenance & Repairs
- Covered: normal wear and tear
- Not covered:
- Misuse
- Neglect
- Damage caused by customer
You must report issues promptly.
7. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Clean the dryer lint trap before each cycle (if applicable)
- Use equipment properly and for household use only
- Keep appliances at the listed address
- Not sell, move, or transfer equipment
- Not modify or repair equipment yourself
- Keep equipment in reasonable condition
- Notify company of damage or malfunction
8. Damage, Loss, or Theft
You are responsible for:
- Damage beyond normal wear
- Loss or theft of equipment
- Replacement cost if not returned
9. Access Rights
You agree to allow reasonable access for:
- Delivery
- Maintenance
- Pickup
10. Cancellation & Termination
By Customer:
- No cancellation during initial 6-month term
- After 6 months:
- Cancel anytime
- Must schedule pickup
By Company:
Company may terminate if:
- Non-payment
- Violation of agreement
- Misuse of equipment
11. Default
You are in default if you:
- Miss payments
- Damage or lose equipment
- Violate terms of this Agreement
Company may:
- Repossess equipment
- Pursue collections or legal action
12. No Ownership / No Purchase Option
This is strictly a rental agreement.
No equity or ownership is earned.
13. Limitation of Liability
Company is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of use
- Property damage
14. Indemnification
You agree to hold the Company harmless from:
- Injuries
- Property damage
- Misuse of equipment
15. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
16. Changes to Agreement
Company may update terms.
Continued use of equipment indicates you accept any updated terms.
17. Entire Agreement
This document represents the full agreement between both parties.
